It’s all to celebrate the new LP; ‘Music at Night; Selected Ambient Works 1994-2014’ being released December 2022. The compilation includes 6 reworkings and 6 unreleased songs and two singles, Firefly and Porcelain II. The album will also be available as a CD at shows and on Bandcamp/Discogs as well as the usual streaming platforms
The album covers Richard’s more quiet reflective works and soundtrack pieces from his extensive career and clocks in at 80 min of chilled out ambience, indeed it goes all the way back to field recordings from Istanbul and Paris. Its best listened to in a flotation tank!! The second single ‘Porcelain II’ also features sublime fantastical artwork by renowned Australian painter Justin Pearson and a cameo appearance on classical guitar by fellow Lime Spider David Sparks and fine Persian Dulcimer by Steve Overmyer.
