Awesome Melbourne Tour Oct 2-4

Doing 2 shows in Melbourne next week to launch ‘Bread and Water’…Grand Final Weekend for gods sake!!!

First show is at Pure Pop Records in Barkly St St Kilda Sun Oct 2…I went here with Scott from the Collage nights at the Espy and it was a great vibe…record store out front specialising in Guitar Pop and out back a stage/coffee machine/Bar and Pizzas flown in from next door…Burn in Hell were playing and I said to my self I want to play here…I contacted Dave who runs the show…told him of the upcoming album and he was keen…soooo…Ive got Jon Schofield from Paul Kellys Coloured Girls and me old band mate from the Grooveyard whom Ive been hanging with and rehearsing and doing a bit of writing at his country retreat in Binalong near Yass/Canberra…also grabbed me old drumming mate from FTR Euro Electronic days ,Gye Bennetts, who played drums with Hitmen/Tablewaiters and really gives the tubs a thump and loves good electronic music…so thats the line up there

Next I got the Tues Collage night [Oct 4]at the Espy from Scott and put a bill together for him and have just scored Penny Ikinger Solo for the show which includes Jon Schofield in his first ever solo shows plus Nigel Wearne who is a new up and comiing alt country guy from Melbourne…louis and the Pride finish off the bill…THAT is an awesome night and bill

Both shows free   Pure Pop kicks off at 6pm and Espy kicks off round 8pm…Ill be onstage there about 10.30pm
